Magdalena Saryusz-Wolska współkieruje projektem. Jest kulturoznawczynią i socjolożką, dyrektorką Niemieckiego Instytutu Historycznego w Warszawie i profesorką Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego (obecnie na urlopie na naukowym). Jej zainteresowania badawcze dotyczą polskiej i niemieckiej kultury pamięci, procesów recepcji kulturowej i historii mediów.
